Mobile Applications

Mobile applications mean less time spent, lower data processing cost, and higher data quality. They pave the way to new, innovative business models and more customer proximity. Customers intending to maximize the range of their mobile applications rather than merely reaching iPhone users can now benefit from our experience in mobile applications.

Cross-platform development

The multitude of platforms and devices complicates the task for developers. The intention of marketing departments is to address a large target group without having to limit themselves to one device type only. bbv Software Services AG, therefore, specializes in developing cross-plattform apps, guaranteeing a maximum of investment protection and sustainability. On a common foundation, we build applications for Apple iOS, Android, Blackberry, Windows Phone 7, Palm, and Symbian, using each platform’s specific possibilities and strengths.

We are your partner for:

  • developing new apps for iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Windows Phone 7,  Palm, and Symbian
  • porting iPhone apps to Android
  • linking apps to the backend and existing Web sites
  • adapting Web applications to and optimizing them for mobile devices
  • developing prototypes and new forms of interaction
  • consultancy: What information in which form? Which platform? How does it connect to the existing infrastructure? How is the project to be implemented?

Project examples

Elevator diagnosis using Android smartphone

For the local diagnosis and configuration of elevator controls, bbv Software Services AG has developed a smartphone app using Google’s Android OS. Communication between the elevator controls and the smartphone is effected over a Bluetooth link.
